Benrik diaries - Thorn

I wasn't born in the US which... if I recall correctly you have to be in order to run for president.
But to become governor you just have to be a regular US-citizen. Like Arnold. I don't feel any need to be either Arnold or a member of USA.

Hmmm... Although first and last we all inhabit Earth. (And all other things are just a matter of technicaleties.)
We drink it's water, eat it's cows and buy lots of plastic.

Speaking of plastic and earth this George Carlin quote springs to mind:

"The earth doesn't share our prejudice towards plastic...plastic came out of the earth, the earth probably sees plastic as just another one of its children...could be the only reason the earth allowed us to be spawned from it in the first place: it wanted plastic for itself, didn't know how to make it, needed us. Could be the answer to our age-old philosophical question...why are we here? Plastic, assholes."

However, deep inside my opinion is that this task really should have been to run for Kofi Annan.
He's a world citizen in a true-sense-kinda-way right? And everyone could become that.

Other:
I've got 4 internet auctions running. 2 buyers are really hitting it off over a couple of items I didn't think would sell at all. Go figure.

I also went to the masquerade-thing and highly enjoyed myself.
I just might post a picture.
Conclusion: There should be masquerades 24/7 and invitations to everyone!

Oh, and here's a song by an Australian chick interpreted by someone else. Amusing.

Benrik diaries - [no title included in this message]

Task:
As I reported I added a health unit for regular citizens to find if they searched for medical service - immunology or Benrik.
I added:
- A description - “For people immune against Benrik”
- A phone number to the company that publish the book in Sweden
- E-mail to Benrik
- A link to the homepage

Cleaning:
My rebellious mind can only do so much (be rebellious for short periods of time). I’ve now removed the unit and will again focus on keeping a high quality on the information about heath-care.

Phone:
I had to borrow an old mobile phone today since my last one wasn't too reliable. (It kept shutting off.)
The new signal is madness, complete madness I tell you!
Too perky with it's accumulating bling-bling - sounds like people are more eager to get a hold of me now than they used to be and I don’t know how to relate to this new way of life.
I think I’d like to change the signal but since I’m not planning to hold on to the phone… I won’t.
I’m also quite certain this builds character (annoying things always has that tendency).

Question:
What signal have you got on you mobile phone?

Benrik diaries - Beat this...

I fucking work in health-care - managing how some of the healthcare in the county is presented to it's citizens.

So what I've done is that I've opened a small office dealing primarily with tests. It targets people "immune against benrik" and is fully searchable at vardguiden.se.

I might add more information as the week goes.

Benrik diaries - Rubbish

Confusion:
There's a pile of rubbish just outside my window, logs, metal and probably lots of nails. (from the CIA-people).
It woke me up this morning and I thought. "Wow, people are building stuff out there. And on a Sunday!"
But it was only the wind messing around with rubbish.

Swimming-people:
1 time could be an accident. 2 times = habit.
I am now one of those people who goes swimming once a week.
It might add a new dimension to my very complicated personality, but I doubt it.

Random perfection:
Happiness is when you put your stereo on shuffle and it plays one great song after the other. Mixing them in a way you'd never figure out on your own. Today it played Massive attack's "Heat miser" followed by "Small-town boy" with Bronski Beat and I felt happy. : )

I've also been watching and giggling to tons of Eddie Izzard comedy. (not all)
So, here follows his "best of" according to me, and up to this point:
1. Dressed to kill (with the thing about birds not having dreams about flying, it would be too simple. Birds have dreams about driving cars, smoking)
2. Circle (with the trigger-happy monkey, signing for "banana")
3: Glorious (with the turnie-button-thing)

Hope I confused you enough to make you not notice my complete failure regarding this weeks task.

Benrik diaries - Got the greens

Yesternight there was this fog.
Have I been absent?
I feel absent.

I've been to the doctor. I've cancelled on the dentist and I had a conversation about orchids which lasted for 1 hour.
I've also thought about saying "Hej stygging!" (Hey bad boy!) to the bus driver and this morning I actually remembered it. Only that the bus-driver was the grumpy-old-men-type so I chuckled and quietly went to sit down.

There's always this lack of extravaganza.
However this won't stop me in my attempts.

St: Patricks-day today.
That might call for a celebration of some kind.
Like buying lots of green candy and share it with friends.
Now, would you like some?

Benrik diaries - Give me 3 bottles of whine and teach me to go-go

Holá!

I had good intent with this week, thinking: "this really is my cup of tea."
But what's happened?
Nada, zippo, njet.

Mouthing obscenities to strangers is furthers from my mind. (It's lies a whole lot closer with people I know.)

My best effort so far:
Yesterday (while in character) I told H
"Come here and dance with me you charmer you!"

Yes I know, I'm miles from any naughtiness.

Other: I got this invitation to a masquerade a couple of weeks ago. That's one of my main-weapons against this fucking, cock-sucking cold.
And shit!

The theme is nostalgia and I'm thinking "Cindy Lauper" - no problem in pulling that one of (basically that's me + skirt, bling-bling and maybe a hat). Or should I make it a bit more difficult and go as Margaret Thatcher or some comic?
This is my current favourite problem.

Random thought: I wonder if there's more e-mails then birds flying around?

Joy to the world!
