The loudness of hip clubs and bars always surprices me.
There you are with the in-crowd, the only problem is that one hand can't hear what the other one's trying to say. The music continues to pump and there's people with empty stares. You come to the conclusion that the only thing to do is to dance, but it's too crowded, there's no enough space. And then you leave.
I've come to the only conclusion one can draw... the in-crowd has absolutely nothing interesting to say.

The very last time I attempted a club I took a notepad so I could talk to people. then wondered what the hell I was doing, left and have never returned to such an establishment.
