Words from MySpace - Procastination

"The era of procrastination, of half-measures, of soothing and baffling expedients, of delays, is coming to its close. In its place we are entering a period pf consequences." ~ Sir Winston Churchill

Yesterday I finally watched "An uncomfortable truth".
I've been very hessitant before as I've thought of the whole save the planet deal as the latest trend.. But don't get me wrong on this. Fact is like with the AIDS epedemi, the state of the earth, has always been a fact of life. So I didn't really understand what all the talk was about; There's nothing new under the sun, I thought. Just people who want to make a name for themselves.. Since adopting children from africa went out of style.
However after seeing it I had to change my stuck-up mind and figure "ok, if this is what it takes... then it can't be a bad thing."

I've aways thought that saving the enviroment would become the next new economical boom after IT and communication, which it doesn't take Einstein to come up with. Simply because it's the only way to go...
Perhaps that is what we're seeing now.

So what am I doing to save the earth?
I recycle.
I don't have a car, I use public transport.
I turn off the heath in the summertime.

Improments:
Turn off energy sources I don't directly use (the computer, stereo and the light in the hallway doesn't have to be on at all times.)
I'll talk to others about the envirmental issues.
I'll start boiling stuff with a lid.

Question:
Is it better to microwave compared to using a regular owen?

I've stopped procrastination when it comes to my home as well. I've followed in Eminems footsteps and cleaned out my closet. Ain't it funny how its almost just as fun getting rid of stuff as it is getting them?
