Songs for Space Travellers

This playlist actually took me over three years to make. Orginially I was looking for music with a certain feeling - some kind of dreamy, but still crystal clear kind of feeling, all at the same time. Good luck!

As I remeber it, the first songs that I used to build the mood of the playlist around were "Sparks" by Röyksopp and "In the deep" by Bird York (that I feel deeply in love with it after watching the movie "Crash"). I also remeber the happiness I felt when I found "Captain Nemo" by Dive. I used to love that song as a kid but was never able to afford the album and then when I was, I couldn't find it. The song was later covered by Sarah Brightman and became some kind of hit. But the cover isn't nearly as good as the original.

Over the next couple of years I kept adding songs as they came along untill one day i february, 2012 I realized that what I had made was a playlist for space travellers (or for divers of some kind of great unknown) or for regular people exploring life. As the playlist plays it describes both happiness, lonelyness, escape and feeling right at home. A little bit of everything.
But no, you won't find "Rocket man" by Elton John in it, which, although it's a great song doesn't have the feeling I was going for.

When should you listen to this playlist?
Well, I usually listen to it on the subwaygoing to, or from work and during late nights. I also listen to it more during wintertime. But that's me.

Anyway, I still think it's one of the best playlist I've ever made. Enjoy!
