I had to borrow an old mobile phone since my last one wasn't too reliable (it kept shutting off).

The new signal is madness, complete madness I tell you!
Too perky, accumulating bling-bling... it sounds like people are more eager to get a hold of me now than they used to be and I'm not quite sure how to relate to this new way of life.

I think I’d like to change the signal but since I’m not planning to hold on to the phone I won’t.

I’m also quite certain this builds character (annoying things has that tendency).
